Pastor Betty H. Jackson has faithfully served the congregation of the First Apostolic Church in Albany, Georgia, since June 30, 1996. Her unwavering commitment to ministry and her diverse roles within the church community have left a lasting impact.

Education:
- Pastor Jackson earned her Bachelor of Science in Theology (BSN) from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, in 2018.
- She continued her academic journey, obtaining a Master’s in Religious Studies in 2021.
- Currently, she is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in Discipleship at Liberty University.

Ministry Roles:
- Throughout her service, Pastor Jackson has worn many hats:
  - Evangelist: She joined an evangelist team at the Chapel Church in Izmir, Turkey, where she shared the Gospel alongside her husband.
  - Teacher: Her passion for teaching led her to impact lives through biblical instruction.
  - Van Driver: She ensured smooth transportation for church activities.
  - Choir Director: Music played a vital role under her leadership.
  - Assistant Pastor: She supported the senior pastor in various capacities.
  - Pastor: Pastor Jackson now leads the congregation with dedication and compassion.

Missionary Work:
- In 2008, she embarked on her first missionary journey to West Africa, supporting numerous churches and their pastors.
- In Okinawa, Japan, she led a small group, resulting in over thirty-five souls coming to know the Lord.

Community Outreach:
- Pastor Jackson’s heart for service extends beyond the church walls:
  - She collaborated with the Teleperformance Group of Albany, the mayor, the Albany Police, and the Albany Civic Center to distribute food boxes to the public.
  - The church actively partners with the “Balm of Gilead Organization”, addressing diabetes and seniors’ financial needs.
  - She champions community outreach, leaving a legacy of compassion and care.

Personal Life:
- Pastor Jackson is a woman of prayer and has served as a retired nurse since 2005.
- She is the widow of SMSGT Charlie Jackson.
- As a mother to three daughters and two sons-in-law, she finds joy in her role as a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren (seven girls and one boy, Nathan).
